Litter Cleanup – Spring 2018
2018-10-18
There’s not much to say about this. The unplanned by-product of consumerism is garbage. Note how brittle the plastic cups are. Most of the plastic trash becomes micro-plastics from exposure to UV and mechanical breakage. In the Spring thaw and during the Fall wet season, the ditch water can run pretty fast and a lot of this trash will end up in the Saugeen and then in Lake Huron. It’s a little thing to put our garbage in recycling and waste bins instead of tossing it away carelessly. Hey kids – if you’re doing this at home, wear protective gloves!
