For services other than tree removal our labour rate is $55 / hr. Tree removal or trimming is $90 / hr.
Portable Saw Milling
- Starting in August 2024, we will be milling our own timber, and can do yours as well to produce planks, dimensional lumber, or live-edge products. Maximum log diameter 20 inches, maximum length 16 feet.
Interpretive Walks and Fat-Biking
- Again this year, we are offering interpretive tours of our woodlot walking and fat-bike trails, Mondays in July, August, and September, weather permitting. Come and see how we manage our woodlot ecosystems, naturally. The tours are $10 per person and last 1 to 2 hours. Children and youth under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Group size is 5 to 10 people. Call 519-477-3561 to book a date.
Trees and Shrubs
- sales – various sizes and species, bare root, plugs, potted, or burlap-wrapped.
- delivery – free in Southampton if you hire us to do the planting, hourly rate elsewhere.
- planting – we install nursery trees from other suppliers, hedges, and garden plants. We also transplant trees, shrubs, and perennials that you would like moved.
- removals – shrubs and most trees (although some removals will require a boom truck which we do not have)
Plants and Seeds
- Sales for 2024 will include a selection of seeds collected locally and from similar ecosystems in southwestern Ontario. Contact us for special requests, and see our products page for more information.

Property Maintenance
- We look after your property using state-of-the art eco-tools such as our battery-powered lawn mowers and chainsaws, our electric wood-chipper/mulcher, and a wide range of ever-popular hand-powered devices (shovels, rakes, and clippers).
General pick-ups and deliveries
- Using our all-electric SMART car and trailer, or the all-manual peddle-bike and trailer, we provide cartage (up to 1 cubic meter) with no GHG emissions. We will pick-up or drop off compost, soil, stone, and other garden / landscaping materials. If you want to reduce your transportation carbon footprint, let us do the driving for you.
