Mountain mint: Perennial native to Ontario and New Brunswick. Hardy to Zone 3. Attracts beneficial insects. Blooms July through September. Grows to 90 cm.
Bee balm: Also known as wild bergamot. Highly attractive to pollinators. Flowers vary from pink to lavender. Grows to 60-90 cm.
Nodding onion: Deer-resistant perennial. Provides food for short-tongued bees. Grows in sun or partial shade. Great for containers.
Black-eyed Susan: An annual used by Indigenous Peoples for medicinal purposes. Flowers are five to eight cm wide. Attractive to butterflies.
Available in pots or in-ground planting.
